California Drywall Co. has announced that Tony Hughes has
joined the company as senior project manager. Hughes brings more than 28 years
of drywall and plaster industry experience and joins California Drywall after
spending the past 24 years at Aderholt Specialty, where he served in a number
of capacities.
At California Drywall, Hughes will be responsible for
providing overall project management for large scale projects. He has
successfully managed numerous large, high-profile projects, including:
The Infinity – San Francisco: A one-million-square-foot
residential complex with 654 units, retail space and a five-level garage.
The 88 – San Jose: A 22-story, 584,000-square-foot luxury
residential tower with 197 units, 29,000 square feet of ground-floor retail
space and a six-level parking structure.
Foundry Square II – San Francisco: An 11-story,
595,000-square-foot office building includes two-levels of subterranean
parking.
L.A. Live! – Los Angeles: A 585,000-square-foot, 26 floor
Ritz-Carlton Residences with 224 units.
Avalon Mission Bay Phase II – San Francisco: Two residential
towers (17-story and eight-story) totaling 363,000 square feet with 313 units
and four-levels of parking.
Axis – San Jose: A 22-story, 678,000-square-foot residential
high-rise with 329 residential units, five-level garage, and other amenities.
