The Solid Steel Blue Max includes the company’s patented Shock-Blok, a vibration-absorbing insert of hickory and laminated rubber in the hammer’s head. The Fiberglass Blue Max will feature a high impact overstrike guard and a shock-cushioning hollow core handle. Both the fiberglass and solid steel models are offered in 19-ounce head weights with straight handles and include the patented Head Start magnetic nail-holding notch capble of starting 16d and 20d nails.
