The New Grip-Deck TubeSeal Fastener

The NEW Grip-Deck TubeSeal fastener, available with various washers from Rodenhouse  Inc., is designed to attach continuous insulation while self-sealing the blind fastener penetration of the WRB/air barrier. This effective solution has been system tested in various combinations and types of continuous insulation (ci) and air barriers to 25 psf of water and air holdout without leaks (tested per ASTM E-331 and E-2357). The Grip-Deck TubeSeal helps solve the sequencing challenge of attaching ci over the air barrier, and does not require additional detailing or sealants saving time and money.
