SFIA Announces Agenda for General Session, Annual Meeting
The association will be presenting an update on SFIA business, as well as a general session following the annual meeting in Charlotte during this year's BUILD'25.
The SFIA Annual Meeting, from noon to 12:30 pm, will showcase the winners of the 2024 SFIA Awards and include election of SFIA officers and Board of Directors.
Don Allen, SFIA executive director, will give a presentation on the state of the association. Allen will discuss accomplishments from the previous year, plans for the upcoming year and challenges and opportunities for the future of steel framing. The SFIA Annual Meeting is open to SFIA members only. All SFIA members are welcome to attend. Only one individual from each company represented will be designated as a voting member for the officer and board elections.
Immediately following the SFIA Annual Meeting, the SFIA General Session (12:30-1:30 pm, also will be in room E221A at the Charlotte Convention Center).
The SFIA General Session will feature association advocate Dan Varroney, who is spearheading SFIA’s 2025-2028 planning. Varroney will discuss findings in his conversations with the SFIA leadership and ask for the audience input on the challenges and future of the association. The SFIA General Session will be open to the public. Anyone interested in the steel framing industry is welcome, space permitting.
