As of Sept. 30, the plant's 44 employees had also reached 1,131,117 "safe hours," a new record for the plant and one of the longest such streaks among all USG plants.
Employees at the Medina plant, which manufactures a variety of specialty wall and ceiling products, celebrated their accomplishment with a catered luncheon and received a special commemorative shirt marking the occasion.
