Rohm and Haas Co. and OMNOVA Solutions have signed a letter of intent to form a global joint venture for the purpose of marketing, selling and servicing latex binders, synthetic pigments and specialty additives for coating applications in the paper and paperboard industry. A final joint venture agreement is expected to be completed soon.
