The Nathan Kimmel Co. turns 50 this year. Beginning in the garage of Nathan and Bella Kimmel, the company has since served the wall and ceiling industry as a source for tarps, machinery, parts and supplies.

Currently, the company has expanded and modernized its warehouse and the production facility provides customers with a selection of inventory, factory-direct pricing and custom orders.

Carol Kimmel Schary, the Kimmel's daughter, has owned and operated the company since 1996. She attributes its success to living by the company's original mission statement: "To provide our customers with quality products, excellent values and prompt service that is backed by our fine reputation and integrity."
