The Scaffold Industry Association recently welcomed two new officers.

Late last year, the SIA announced that Richard Marshall was the association’s new executive director. Marshall joined SIA after 13 years as director of finance and technology for the Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors.

“We are confident that (Marshall’s) appointment will make a significant difference in the way services and benefits are provided to our membership,” said SIA President John Miller.

In addition to Marshall’s appointment, Maureen Orey recently was named director of training and education for SIA. She has more than 20 years of experience in management, training, human resources and safety. Among her other duties, Orey will work with the Accredited Training Institutes to further the goals and mission of the SIA training programs.
