The Portland Cement Association (PCA) has launched an Internet web site for one-stop resource for planning and creating marketing materials. Users have access to a library of information and templates that can be customized for specific events and companies.
This Web site, titled, “DIY Promotion Zone,” enables concrete promoters, homebuilders, or contractors to create print advertisements, brochures, event postcards, and e-mail “blasts” to promote residential concrete products to both consumer and non-consumer audiences.
The site (http://www.cement.org/homes/DIY/) was designed to offer a promoter of any size the flexibility to customize materials without sacrificing the ability to maintain consistent, integrated, and professionally designed looks and messages.
The site’s vendors, Redleaf Digital and Johnson Press, serve as fulfillment sources and offer mailing or e-mailing services to a provided mailing list. There is no sign-up fee to use the new service, which utilizes a “pay as you go” system, by which users only pay for the PDF file they download or for printing service they request. A “strategies” section assists builders and promoters with developing their marketing plan and messages.
