After METALCON International 2008 wraps up on October 3,
2008, Kingspan Insulated Panels, Inc., a manufacturer of metal panels, will
donate its exhibit furniture to the Chesapeake Habitat for Humanity ReStore.
Kingspan API, Kingspan ASI, Kingspan Benchmark, and Morin
will all feature products at the metal construction industry’s annual
conference and exhibition held at the Baltimore Convention Center.
The furniture from the divisions’ booth will then be taken to the Chesapeake
Habitat ReStore and sold for a discounted price. All proceeds will benefit
Chesapeake Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit organization that works to rebuild
homes in the Baltimore community. Additionally, recycling the furniture will
have a positive environmental impact.
According to ReStore Manager Chris Council, Kingspan is the
first company to make a donation of this nature since the store opened in April
2008.
