Charlotte,
N.C.-based National Gypsum announced its complete line of XP interior gypsum
products has achieved GreenGuard Indoor Air Quality Certified status and
GreenGuard Children & Schools Certification.
“The XP product family, easily identified by its signature purple color,
provides the building and design communities everything they need for
innovative, sustainable design in gypsum systems,” said John Mixson, National
Gypsum’s director of marketing. “In addition to offering multi-faceted
performance in the form of abuse- and impact-resistance and industry-leading
mold-resistance, our XP products now have the added benefit of achieving the
highest indoor air quality standards.”
The manufacturer’s XP products that have received certification include Gold
Bond Hi-Abuse XP, Hi-Impact XP and XP Gypsum Board.
