Both certification programs require products to meet stringent standards in regard to chemical and particle emissions that can compromise healthy indoor air quality.

CertaSpray is a polyurethane foam that is sprayed into a building cavity and quickly expands to fill every opening that can potentially leak air impeding the penetration of moisture and outdoor allergens. The foam results in a hard, rigid consistency that provides superior insulating power and adds structural integrity to walls. The product also helps meet the requirements of an Energy Star home and is only installed by CertainTeed qualified contractors in order to achieve the most rigorous quality standards.
