The American Concrete Institute announces the availability of a new resource that allows access to all ACI Symposium Papers through a new online Symposium Papers Subscription.

The new online Symposium Papers Subscription includes 12 months of unlimited access to more than 6,000 new and archived Symposium Papers dating back to 1962. Individual subscriptions cost $160 annually, however ACI members can subscribe for $95 per year. Organizations or libraries may purchase a multi-user subscription for $650.

ACI conducted research earlier this spring to determine demand for the new Symposium Papers Subscription. Based on the results obtained, an overwhelming 90-plus percent of responding members and customers were interested in the opportunity for quick and easy access to all of ACI’s Symposium Papers online.

“The demand for immediate access to online technical information from the American Concrete Institute continues to increase,” said William R. Tolley, executive vice president of the American Concrete Institute. “Along with the evolution of our technical documents, Manual of Concrete Practice, Concrete International magazine, and two journals-all of which are published in both print and online editions-ACI continues to meet the industry’s needs by providing an increasing amount of information electronically. This Symposium Papers Subscription is a natural evolution of our Symposium Papers, and should serve as an invaluable resource to engineers, consultants, libraries, researchers, and others who rely on ACI’s leading edge technical information.”

ACI publishes Symposium Publications in conjunction with many ACI-sponsored symposia and convention sessions on various industry hot topics. These publications often include more than a dozen Symposium Papers authored and compiled by leading industry designers, practitioners, researchers, and academicians.
