Greensburg, Kan., commemorated its two-year anniversary of the day a tornado hit and nearly leveled the town. But this solemn occasion also marked the celebration and opening of the Silo Eco-Home, a 2,100 square-foot demonstration home that is currently being built in a totally green and sustainable way. Dryvit heard of this story and wanted to be a part of it.

“We share Greensburg/GreenTown’s dedication to environmental sustainability and energy efficiency so we were delighted to donate 40 pails of the Mojave E Finish to Armour Homes, the Florida-based builder of the Silo Eco-Home,” said Barbara Catlow, director of marketing communications. “It is an energy efficient choice for the cast concrete building’s exterior because it contains 20 percent post-consumer recycled glass, is 40 percent lighter than traditional finishes, and will provide superior durability for years to come.”
