Sto Corp. has announced an upgrade to its sample product
program for 2010.
Recognizing a better way to present customers with accurate
samples of the company’s coatings products, Sto changed the substrate material
used for its 8-inch-by-8-inch samples, and 2-inch-by-8-inch retain stick
samples to a 100-percent recycled plastic, bolstering its commitment to
sustainability.
“All coatings and claddings manufacturers have some version
of a sample program,” said Marty Parker, vice president of operations at Sto
Corp. “We decided to upgrade our materials that we used to a recycled material
that not only shows off the quality materials better than the old substrate but
furthers our commitment to sustainability and our motto of ‘Building with
Conscience.’”
The upgraded board provides additional benefits to our
distribution network and our customers including:
Flexible
substrate material highlights quality
Incorporates
Sto Hot Prime (non-sanded) as a one coat primer application, allowing
boards to be used for both smooth coating and finish applications
Easier
application of materials
Lighter
weight than previous samples
Better
presentation for customers
