The Gypsum Association announces the election of the following officers from the Board of Directors for 2010-2011:

· Chairman – Stephen Raley, Vice President, Gypsum, Temple-Inland, Diboll, Texas;

·  Past Chairman – Charles J. Poandl, Vice President, Customer Value, Logistics, and Public Affairs Gypsum Division, Lafarge North America Inc., Herndon, Va.;

·  First Vice-Chairman – Leo J. Bissonnette, Regional Manager, Georgia – Pacific Gypsum LLC, Atlanta, Georgia;

· Second Vice-President – John K. Donaldson, President, CertainTeed Gypsum, Inc. / CertainTeed Gypsum Canada, Inc., Tampa, Fla.;

· Treasurer – Joseph Holmes, Vice President, Enterprise Technology, USG, Chicago; and

· Secretary – Michael A. Gardner, Executive Director, Gypsum Association, Hyattsville, Md.  

The officers were elected at the recent meeting of the Association’s Board of Directors in The Woodlands, Texas.  All terms are for one year and became effective May 1, 2010.

The Gypsum Association is in its 80th year of service as the technical, promotion, and information center of the gypsum industry.  The Association, representing gypsum board manufacturing companies located throughout the United States and Canada, is located in Hyattsville.
