Wagner Acquires Wichita's Commercial Drywall Supply
Wagner
Distribution Holding Co.’s President and CEO Bill Sturgeon announced that the
company has acquired Commercial Drywall Supply Inc., a privately held specialty
building materials distributor based in Wichita, Kan. The effective change over
date is March 5.
Commercial Drywall Supply is a two-branch distributor of gypsum and gypsum-related products. Its second branch is located in Manhattan, Kan. About the acquisition, Sturgeon said, “Commercial Drywall Supply has maintained a strong presence in the Wichita and Manhattan markets and we are excited to add their gypsum products and experience as a compliment to the ceilings products and experience Wagner presently represents in these markets. This acquisition certainly makes for a natural fit since both companies strive to build lasting relationships with their customers, suppliers and employees.”
