The Western Construction Consultants Association will hold its SYMPOSIUM 2012,

“Stucco Wall Systems: Design and Construction For Weather Protection” on November 7. The event, held at the Golden Gate Fields, Turf Club, will be an all-day event in Berkeley, Calif.

Three panels and a keynote will be presented throughout the day:

Panel One: Terminology, Uses, Expectations, Framing, Sheathing Underlayment (WRB & SAF)

Panel Two: Westcon Testing Update, Flashings, Drainage Cavities & Rainscreens

Panel Three: Lath, Control Joints, Mixes & Application

Keynote: Testing and Modeling the Hygrothermal Performance of EIFS, by Andre Desjarlais

All attendees receive a binder of PowerPoints suitable as a future reference guide. Program materials can be purchased on CD or in print for those that cannot attend.

Manufacturers/exhibitors will also be on hand to discuss the latest materials and techniques used for stucco.
