CEMCO has announced that its Ft. Worth manufacturing facility has completed the installation of a new state-of-the-art roll-forming line dedicated to manufacturing USG’s CH-Studs, E-Studs, and J-Runners for the industry’s most utilized Shaft Wall system. Production has already begun and the entire line of USG Shaft-Wall studs and track is now available to ship directly from CEMCO’s Ft. Worth facility to customers in the South-Central and Gulf States markets immediately.

“We are very excited to have this production line in our Fort Worth facility,” said CEMCO’s Regional Sales Manager Craig Baldwin. “CEMCO will be the only company manufacturing this product in the state of Texas. The USG name is very well known in our industry and our partnership continues to grow. By having the USG product available to them, our customers and contractors are assured that they have the shaft wall product with the most fire rated assemblies on the market. Having the capability to make this product in state will also improve lead times to our valued contractors on the special lengths necessary for any size project.”

CEMCO has been manufacturing the USG Shaft Wall framing products for more than 20 years in its City of Industry and Pittsburg, California locations. However, once the Ft. Worth facility came on line, ownership quickly saw the need to better serve the market by undertaking this expensive investment in equipment and manpower to satisfy the increasing demand for the USG CH and E-Stud products. In addition to these products, CEMCO also offers complete technical support for the USG Shaft Wall Systems via its technical services department.
