Last year, the EIFS Industry Members Association (EIMA) launched a visually-stimulating program, showing the benefits of EIFS from coast to coast on a range projects.

This program, titled the Quarterly Project Awards Program, demonstrates the wide range of benefits exterior insulation and finish systems offer. This quarter, the award is presented to Parex USA for their EIFS on the Cabana Bay Beach Resort in Orlando, Florida.

The approximately 400,000 sf. Orlando, Fla., vacation resort was completed in July 2014, with the assistance of JC Gibson Plastering Inc. and RE Elliott Specialty Supply.

The Cabana Bay Beach Resort used the Parex WaterMaster EIFS with both Sand Fine and Metallic finishes, which alone showcase both the aesthetic appeal and design flexibility an EIFS project routinely achieves.

Like many other projects that are cladded with EIFS, this resort will achieve a higher quality of energy efficiency now with its continuous layer of insulation. The vacation destination will also remain an attractive site to all those staying in the area for years to come.
