In addition to being recognized as the Official Truck Box of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association for the third year in a row, Weather Guard is now the title sponsor of the PRCA World Standings. The world standings are a year-round compilation of earnings to determine the 15 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo qualifiers in each competitive discipline, including bareback riding, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, team roping, tie-down roping and bull riding.
“We are thrilled to build upon our existing partnership with the PRCA,” said Chris Filardi, vice president of marketing. “The PRCA World Standings represent the best in each discipline, and we are happy to support these champions and recognize their hard work throughout the year.”
“Weather Guard has been a great partner over the past two years,” PRCA Commissioner Karl Stressman said. “We are ecstatic they have stepped up their support of ProRodeo. Our fans and members are loyal supporters of our sponsors, and this will just entrench their brand within our industry even more.”
As a part of the sponsorship Weather Guard will present the highest performing leaders with a bonus check at the end of the season to kick off the Wrangler NFR in Las Vegas this December. In addition to the PRCA World Standings, Weather Guard will continue to sponsor the WNFR bullfighters and feature their efforts throughout the season through their Save of the Night program. Each PRCA rodeo will highlight a bullfighter’s efforts and recognize the person or team as the best Save of the Night.
