Walbridge, a construction company celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2016, has announced several changes in its financial and administrative leadership teams.
Those changes are:
Vince DeAngelis – is retiring from Walbridge after 30 years where he served as executive vice president/chief administrative officer and a member of the Board of Directors. He will divide his time between work in the non-profit arena, caring for an extended family member, as well as continuing to consult with Walbridge.
"I want to give our thanks to Vince for his 30-year career here at Walbridge," said John Rakolta, Jr., chairman and CEO of Walbridge. "He has contributed significantly to the continued financial stability of our organization even through some of the greatest downturns the industry has ever experienced. I will miss him and all he has contributed."
John Rakolta III – is promoted to executive vice president and chief administrative officer, overseeing the financial and other administrative functions of the construction enterprise. Rakolta has been with Walbridge over 10 years and was most recently group vice president/chief financial officer.
William McCulloch – will join Walbridge as vice president/chief financial officer, with responsibility for the financial and project controls functions. He was formerly with FSE Energy, a New Orleans EPC contractor.
Peter Darga – a 23-year veteran of Walbridge, has been promoted to vice president/treasurer, directly overseeing the accounting and treasury functions.
"We believe that our leadership team is in place to launch the company into its next hundred years and will reinforce the essential cultural, character and sacrifices created by our founders and underscore their importance for our next generation of employees," said John Rakolta Jr.
