Dryvit Systems, Inc., the leading manufacturer of exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS) in North America, recently held the “Dryvit Extravaganza”, a product introduction and demonstration event for its key northeast distributors and applicators at the Foxwoods Resort & Casino in Ledyard, Conn. The event attracted over 100 distributors and applicators from the region.
“The event was a big success because it enabled distributors and applicators to spend the day with Dryvit’s senior leadership, enhancing our technical understanding of new product offerings and talking about our shared goal of achieving excellence in the EIFS industry, both from a product standpoint and quality workmanship perspective,” said Dave Neff, president of Manning Materials, Dryvit’s largest distributor and its exclusive distributor for the New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania markets. Neff attended the event with his brother, Phil Neff, Manning Material’s vice president of sales. “I’ve spoken with many of our applicators who attended, including a number who traveled a long distance, and they said it was a great event and they’re looking forward to more like it. My hat is off to Dryvit’s leadership for taking their support of distributors and applicators to an even higher level.”
The event included a demonstration of the company’s breakthrough, patent-pending NewBrick™ product, a lightweight alternative to clay brick that Dryvit launched in late 2016. NewBrick can be installed by traditional EIFS installers as well as masons.
“At Dryvit, we pride ourselves on producing world-class products and providing unmatched sales and technical support to our distributors and applicators through every phase of a project,” said John Elkas, Dryvit’s vice president of sales. “Our recent product introduction and demonstration event was another way we could continue to provide top notch support to our distribution and installation partners.”
Dryvit’s wet wall demonstration at the Foxwoods event showcased installation of NewBrick and architectural finishes such as Tibur Stone™, Ferros™, and TerraNeo®. Dryvit also showcased its Tech21® initiative, a program centered around the panelization of Dryvit systems. Other focal points for attendees included briefings on ReVyvit™ by Dryvit, the exterior renovation initiative launched by Dryvit in 2016 to help building owners, architects and engineers harness energy savings through exterior cladding renovations and other energy savings retrofits. Briefings were also provided on Dryvit Shapes by Acrocore, and its interior product line offered through Triarch.
