Pelican Products Inc. has appointed Terri Schiek to lead its Core Consumer Sales Division in the United States.

As Vice President of Sales, Schiek will be responsible for all sales efforts in the Consumer Division with the exception of consumer electronics. Her mission will be to significantly build the company’s National Accounts business while expanding their grass roots retail business across the U.S. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting overarching sales priorities for the Consumer business and overseeing all aspects of promotional campaigns, pricing strategies and distribution channels with retailers at the national level. She will have direct oversight of all Pelican National Accounts Managers and Regional Managers.
Schiek joins Pelican with a very successful sales career. Most recently, she served as the Vice President of Sales for Hobbico, the largest manufacturer of toy, hobby and remote control products in the world. Prior to Hobbico, Schiek spent 12 years at THQ, a global video game maker. She was Senior Vice President of Publishing with oversight of sales, sales operations and channel marketing. During her tenure she grew sales from a little over $400 million to over $700 million dollars. She has also held sales leadership positions at Hasbro Interactive, Spectrum Holobyte, Tonka Corporation and Unilever. As a result, Schiek has experience with a wide variety of customers and channels including Amazon, mass merchandisers and clubs, DIY, hobby and consumer electronics. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Marquette University.
