Fortifiber is pleased to have Gary Gessel, a new member of the Fortifiber Board of Directors. 

Gessel has experience in the building products industry, having led Milgard Windows and Doors, Inc. for the past eight years as the company’s president, general manager and COO.  Milgard is a division of Masco Corporation, a supplier of home improvement and construction products and services. During his tenure, he nearly doubled revenues to over $500MM, despite the economic tailwinds of the Great Recession. He has financial and general business experience that spans the building materials, food, banking and automotive industries.

“We are excited to bring Gary’s industry and financial expertise to our Board”, says Chris Yount, President of Fortifiber. “We believe his knowledge of the window and door business will be invaluable, especially as we plan for the future of our flashing business.” 

Mr. Gessel holds degrees from both Brigham Young and Purdue Universities, and serves on the Boards of several colleges and community nonprofits.
