Harvey Building Products announced that it is expanding its focus with a new Commercial Projects division and has appointed Abhi Singh as its managing director.

With a proven 50-plus year track record of superior manufacturing of high quality windows and doors, Harvey has already provided custom window and door solutions in the commercial space for more than two decades on a regional basis. Singh will lead the company's expansion of its niche solution-based offerings nationwide. 

Jim Barreira, CEO of Harvey Building Products, says Harvey’s leadership team chose Singh based on his track record and growth-oriented approach.

"Abhi is incredibly talented and has proven his mettle time and again in various industries. We have no doubt Harvey's commercial division will thrive under his leadership,” said Barreira. 

Singh’s career in the construction sector includes recent leadership roles as senior vice president at A.H. Harris & Sons, Inc., general manager at Hajoca Corporation, president at Atlantic Supply Corporation and Mid-Atlantic regional director of sales and operations for HD Supply.

Within the world of commercial window products, Harvey's strengths lie in its ability to value engineer product solutions in its on-site testing facility and manufacture specialty products, such as PTAC units, panning systems, structural mullion systems, and custom exterior paint finishes. The core of Harvey's commercial project business is focused on hotels, assisted living facilities, multi-family residential developments and government-financed housing.

Harvey’s new commercial division is fully-operational, including the development of a dedicated team of top-notch commercial sales professionals, commercial project estimators and commercial project managers.
