JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company and a manufacturer of aerial work platforms and telehandlers, is a 2018 winner in EquipmentWatch’s annual Highest Retained Value Awards program, an award program based on residual values for heavy equipment.
“This is the second consecutive year JLG engine-powered scissor lifts have received this honor, which makes this year’s win that much more exciting,” said Rafael Nuñez, scissor lift product manager at JLG Industries, Inc. “Residual value plays a significant role in buying decisions, as it impacts both leasing terms and lifetime ownership costs. The Highest Retained Value Award recognizes the ongoing efforts at JLG to deliver equipment that provides excellent value over its life cycle – value that is enhanced by our attention to maintenance, service, parts, training, machine reliability, and machine versatility.”
JLG engine-powered scissor lifts provide a larger work area and, in many instances, higher load capacities than boom lifts, making them ideal for applications requiring more workspace and more lifting capacity. The scissor lifts deliver exceptional terrainability and gradeability, making them easier to maneuver around the roughest job sites. The list of JLG engine-powered scissor lifts includes the 260MRT and LRT Series (330LRT, 430LRT, and 530LRT).
“Retained value is one of the primary indicators of overall performance and reliability for any piece of heavy equipment,” says Garrett Schemmel, vice president of EquipmentWatch. “We are proud to announce our 2018 winners. Models such as JLG engine powered scissor lifts that have received our Highest Retained Value Award should inspire buyer confidence in both new and resale equipment markets.”
To determine the nominees for the 2018 Highest Retained Value Awards, EquipmentWatch analysts considered more than 12,000 models with up to 20 model years of values
