Super Stud Building Products, Inc. has appointed Sal Forgione as Marketing Manager, responsible for the multi-regional steel framing and accessories manufacturer’s marketing, communications, public relations and branding strategy.

 

Professional Background

Sal, an associate member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), officially joined Super Stud Building Products this past April. With a Master’s in Business Administration from the Texas A&M University System and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, Sal has combined his design capabilities with his creative communications skills, offering Super Stud a full-spectrum of media relations support. Prior to joining Super Stud, Sal served as the Manager of Marketing & Business Development at Michael Graves Architecture and Design, the internationally acclaimed architectural and industrial design practice. Sal has been heavily involved in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction field since 2012, having worked with various city, state, and federal procurement agencies, in addition to large privately-held national clients.

 

Sal currently holds a teaching appointment at Kean University with the Michael Graves College/Robert Busch School of Design in Union, New Jersey. He has also spoken at several A/E/C events including the Society for Marketing Professional Services’ (SMPS) annual Marketing Summit in New York City.

 

Duties and ResponsibilitiesSal Forgione

At Super Stud, Sal oversees the strategic planning and execution of marketing and business development efforts related to building product specifications for Architects and Independent Specifiers. Sal manages corporate communications, marketing, advertising and daily media inquiries. Alongside the Super Stud leadership team, Sal is responsible for the development of new and innovative marketing initiatives in cold-formed steel framing, presentation materials, and offers graphic and video production support. Sal also works in tandem with the engineering and research team on Super Stud client and project case studies that highlight cold-formed steel framing advancements that influence architects, engineers, contractors and distributors.
