ClarkDietrich, the largest manufacturer of cold-formed steel framing construction products in North America, announced that the company has acquired 50 percent ownership interest in Structa Wire Corp, a manufacturer of high-performance welded wire products for the lath and plaster industry.

Based in Vancouver, BC, Structa Wire, was founded by Abe and Jeff Sacks more than 20 years ago. Today, the company designs and manufactures a comprehensive line of products developed to improve the performance of stucco for steel and wood-framed construction, including popular brands such as StructaLath, MegaLath and Structa Corner.

“Structa Wire has a long-established company culture founded in product innovation and quality manufacturing, making them the perfect addition to our family of companies,” said Jim Collins, President, ClarkDietrich. “We look forward to fully integrating Structa Wire’s high-performance products into our existing portfolio of solutions for stucco wall applications.”

As part of the acquisition, the company will continue to be managed by Structa Wire employees.

“I am very excited about the prospects for growth and development going forward,“ said Jeff Sacks, CEO, Structa Wire Corp. “This partnership will allow us to continue to innovate on an accelerated tempo and strengthen the culture of both companies”, added Abe Sacks, Chairman.

ClarkDietrich has served as a strategic partner for Structa Wire since 2012 when the two companies announced a distribution agreement, in which ClarkDietrich provided full sales support and delivery of Structa Wire products to 40 states across the United States.  For more information, visit www.clarkdietrich.com.
