PCL Construction Services, Inc. recently named Cathy Orquiola as vice president and district manager of the company’s California Buildings division where she will oversee all operations throughout California including Los Angeles, San Diego, and Orange County.
Cathy first joined PCL in 1998 as assistant project manager in Orlando and returned to PCL in 2015 as director, Corporate Development. Prior to returning to PCL, Cathy rose through the ranks and became vice president, operations manager of an international construction firm, overseeing all southeast projects from Savannah, Georgia, to Puerto Rico. In January of 2017, Cathy was promoted to district manager of California Buildings, where under her leadership, the office achieved a record profit of over $30 million. Cathy was recently recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the 500 Most Influential People in Los Angeles.

Cathy graduated from the Florida Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. She is actively involved in the United Way and Make-a-Wish Foundation and is currently a board member for the ACE Mentor program.
