ATAS International, Inc. was honored to receive the Organizational Certificate of Merit from the Construction Specifications Institute’s Middle Atlantic Region, at their recent annual conference held in Center Valley, Pennsylvania. The conference was attended by a variety of architects, specifiers, contractors, product representatives, and others in the AEC industry from the Middle Atlantic Region. Mark Dorsey, CEO of CSI, was also in attendance to provide an update of CSI’s activities and initiatives.
The award presented to ATAS stated, “In appreciation of your unmatched culture of support for CSI and commitment to its mission, your support for the AEC industry and your community, and your consistent corporate responsibility.” ATAS was one of the first companies to become a CSI Corporate Partner at the Platinum level in 2010, when that program began. They had been a long-time supporter for many years prior to that.
Dick Bus, President of ATAS, stated, “I was very pleased to receive this award on behalf of ATAS. In addition to our involvement in CSI, we are also active members in several other AEC associations, including the Metal Construction Association (MCA), Metal Roofing Alliance (MRA), and the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), just to name a few. I believe in industry-wide collaboration among the associations and our employees’ involvement, which will positively affect the future for all of us in this business.”
