USG Corporation has been named a 2019 ‘Top Workplace’ by the Detroit Free Press and the San Diego Union-Tribune.
“It’s a huge honor to receive this award once again and be recognized by our employees as a Top Workplace. Our employees are the foundation of USG and we know that fostering an engaged, inclusive and innovative culture is an important way to create success,” said Diane Earll, senior vice president and chief human resources officer, USG Corporation. “This award honors our dedicated teams and we appreciate their commitment to creating a safe work environment and quality products for our customers.”
USG received these awards based on its employees’ responses to a survey that measures organizational health, including company culture and communication, leadership, career opportunities, compensation and benefits and working environment.
This marks the sixth year that the Detroit Free Press has named USG as a ‘Top Workplace’ in Michigan, and the third year the company has received the award in San Diego from The San Diego Union-Tribune. The Top Workplaces program is administered by independent research firm Energage in partnership with 30 of the most prestigious publications in the country.
