For the second straight week, contractors are reacting to major national legal news coming from Washington D.C. Just yesterday, President Donald Trump issued an executive order restricting temporary worker visas.

On the heels of the U.S. Supreme Court’s controversial ruling last week on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) order, Cotney Construction Law CEO Trent Cotney said executive orders coming from the White House should not be a surprise, and more are likely on the way.

“This is just the beginning … the Trump administration is out for blood,” he told WC Publisher Jill Bloom and Roofing Contractor’s Editor Art Aisner in their latest video interview. Cotney also broke down what contractors need to know about the legal ramifications of the recent big decisions, and covered the latest on the spike of COVID-19 cases in multiple states.
