Bosch Power Tools announced purchase availability for the 18V Spitfire Connected-Ready 5-6 In. Angle Grinder, part of Bosch’s high power PROFACTOR lineup.

The new grinder features advanced technology such as kickback and drop control, which which helps shut the tool off in case of accidental mishandling and restart protection to help prevent accidental startup if power supply is interrupted. TheGWX18V-13CN Spitfire also includes spiral bevel gears for smooth power transitions, a two-position vibration control side handle and a slim soft-grip design for additional ergonomics.

Cutting downtime with a click, the Spitfire also comes equipped with Bosch’s X-Lock mount, offering a wheel change up to five times faster than conventional interfaces, eliminating the need for a spanner wrench or flange nuts. Additionally, the grinder features an X-brake that helps provide a rapid stop of the wheel when the switch is turned off.
