Kapro Tools received a Pro Tool Innovation Award for the 353 Ledge-It Square in the Hand Tools – Levels category.

The Pro Tool Innovation Awards recognize best-in-class products that are truly ahead of their time. A diverse panel of judges made up of contractors, construction business owners, tradesmen and media professionals weighed in on entries from top global manufacturers.

According to the judges who reviewed the 353 Ledge-It Square, “There’s a lot going on with Kapro’s 353 Ledge-It Square that sets it apart from others. We love the precision of the 90-degree angle with a handle that also lets you precisely mark 30- and 45-degree angles. What’s truly unique is a retractable metal piece—the ledge support. This sits flush to the ruler edge and sits on top of your material, preventing the square from slipping while you mark your lines. It’s like no other square we’ve seen before.”

The stainless-steel ruler has permanently etched gradation for long-lasting accuracy with unique marking holes at 10-, 15-, 22.5-, 30-, 45-, 50- and 60-degrees for quick and accurate angle marking and openings every ¼ inch for precise parallel marking. The 353 comes in 8-, 10- and 12-inch sized blades.

This year, 89 different manufacturers and brands submitted over 470 products that were judged, and winners were decided based on industry innovation.
