PrimeSource Brands, an international distributor of building products for residential, commercial and industrial applications, adds two new executive team members to position the company for growth. Tom Koos will continue as CEO of PrimeSource Brands while turning the PrimeSource Building Products CEO position over to Drew Meng. Robert Roche will serve as PrimeSource Brands Chief Financial Officer.
“I am excited to welcome Bob and Drew to PrimeSource,” said Tom Koos, CEO of PrimeSource Brands. “They are both great additions to the team as we focus on the integration and growth of our business units moving forward.”
The company made a shift in leadership as a result of recent acquisitions. It created three strategic business units within PrimeSource Brands, including PrimeSource Building Products, Inc., Dimora Brands and Wolf Home Products, each with robust product portfolios focused on residential repair, remodel and new construction.
Roche previously served as vice president and chief executive officer at Carlisle Companies, Inc., a global manufacturing business with more than four billion annual sales. While there, he played a crucial role in the Tyco International merger with Johnson Controls, where he held several senior positions.
Meng held several senior roles in sales and marketing at Jacuzzi Group Worldwide, Black & Decker and Newell Rubbermaid before serving as CEO at American Security, a manufacturer and seller of safes for consumers and businesses.
