Versa-Lok metal panels in two colors, Titanium and Classic Bronze, manufactured in .040 aluminum, were selected for this project. The Titanium panels were installed on the entry tower and the Classic Bronze panels were installed between the windows and the brick sections. Versa-Lok is a flat shingle-style wall panel, which creates classic rectangular shapes with its versatile mix-and-match sizes. It can be installed directionally right to left or left to right in a horizontal or vertical orientation. The panel utilizes concealed clips and fasteners to provide a metal shingle-type application on a wall. The aesthetics of Versa-Lok can be enhanced by using factory-fabricated Elite Series trims and accessories, including ATAS’ patented Z Boxes, which ensure a clean finished look for penetrations in a metal wall. Those penetrations could include light fixtures, exhaust vents and electrical outlets. A variety of wall panel corner options are available, including mitered corners, which allow for visual enhancement and crips sight lines at areas of panel termination. All these products are manufactured by ATAS in a state-of-the-art facility to ensure the highest quality and most controlled environment possible.

Utile Architecture and Urban Design of Boston designed this contemporary building, owned by JM Corcoran & Co., LLC. Plumb House Builders, Inc. of Milford, Massachusetts, installed the metal wall panels through their exterior division, Dalton Builders. The panels were purchased through 84 Lumber in Holbrook, Massachusetts. The success of the project was truly a team effort. Jared Gorman, the ATAS Product Representative for that area, worked with the architect, installed the mockup and trained the installation team, along with help from the people at 84 Lumber.
