The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced plans to hold an online meeting of the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health on Jan. 23, 2023, from 2 to 4 p.m. EST.

The meeting is being held to receive a report from NACOSH’s Heat Work Group, receive updates about the committee’s membership and hold a follow-up discussion on the agency’s Whistleblower Protection Program. To join the meeting online, interested individuals must visit the NACOSH website for login information. Comments and requests to speak during the meeting are due by Jan. 3, 2023, and can be submitted using Docket Number OSHA-2022-0002.

NACOSH advises, consults and makes recommendations to the Secretary of Labor and the Secretary of Health and Human Services on matters relating to the administration of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970.
