Authorities arrested a Wisconsin contractor accused of defrauding dozens of customers for thousands of dollars, according to Logan Rude of Channel 3000.
According to Columbia County Jail officials, Tyler Hansen, 51, was taken into custody on January 13 for contractor theft. Until Hansen appears in court, he is being held without bond.
Authorities in Columbia County have not formally charged Hansen, as of January 13.
However, officials in Dane and Monroe counties have charged Hansen for similar allegations, saying he and his contracting companies did not complete jobs for which he signed contracts.
News 3 Now’s Call for Action team received more than 24 complaints about Hansen’s alleged fraud throughout 2022.
