Two Injured After Scaffolding Collapse in Austin, Texas

Two people were left seriously injured after a scaffolding collapsed at a construction site in South Austin, Texas, in February, as reported by its local CBS affiliate.
Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene in the 2500 block of Bluebonnet Lane at around 5:08 p.m. just off of South Lamar Boulevard.
EMS said the scaffolding fell approximately 40 feet below, injuring the two workers. One was transported to St. David’s South and the other to Dell Seton, both with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
No other information was immediately available. CBS Austin is working to confirm more information.
