Logistics were the key to this highly technical installation. The atrium level where this ceiling is installed exists some 116 feet above the floor area. The baffles are installed to the underside of steel trusses, which are also supporting a glass roofing system. To access the work, the contractor installed a suspended scaffold hung from the trusses. Baffles were stocked via a tower crane before glass was finalized.

The Children’s Space incorporated products from France as well as local artisans. This special project was a true work of art.
