L&W Supply has announced that Gretchen Ray has been named branch manager of its Springfield, Virginia, location.

Ray joined L&W Supply in 2019 as an inside sales representative shortly after graduating from West Virginia University. During her time at L&W Supply, Ray has spent time in the delivery service manager role and selling specialty ceilings. She is also a 2020 graduate of L&W Supply’s Branch Manager Training Program.

“Gretchen’s passion and enthusiasm for the business are contagious,” said Jim Nix, Chesapeake District manager. “We are excited to see the great things she and her team will achieve and the world-class customer service they will offer to our customers in the Washington, D.C./northern Virginia market.”

As branch manager, Ray will be responsible for managing daily branch operations, cultivating customer relationships, guiding associates and growing the business.
