“Leadership is so important. It’s the game changer,” says Groth. “It’s what takes the business to the next level or it holds you back. The variable is the one in the mirror. I’m very passionate about leadership.”
How do you coach your contractors?
“We coach our sales team,” he says. “How you do it can differentiate you. You feel connected to that. What keeps people hooked is why you do it. The leaders that are the best in leading the clarity in how they can do it over again, and how they have to face a reality on integrity and care for others. Over time, the ones that have the most selfish ‘why’ don’t have the longest run.”
