In April of 2025, CertainTeed will complete upfitting an additional 30,000 square foot expansion to its Metal Ceilings facility in Norcross, Ga., raising the building’s operational footprint to 150,000 square feet. The expansion brings enhancements to the unit’s roll-forming, fabrication, assembly, and shipping operations, as well as its PreCon and Sample departments.

“Over the past 20 years, with the support of contractors, architects, sales representatives, and suppliers, I have seen the Norcross facility grow purposefully and profitably from 30,000 to 150,000 square feet. This expansion is another well-timed investment in the business,” notes Ron Rice, director of specialty sales for CertainTeed’s Architectural Ceilings and Walls division.

Acquired from the Hunter Douglas North American group in 2018, CertainTeed’s Metal Ceiling business specializes in sustainable aluminum ceiling and wall products for both interior and exterior commercial projects.
