ClarkDietrich will introduce a new product designed to accommodate omnidirectional displacement and mitigate noise associated with the movement of steel framing members at the BUILD25 Convention and Expo (Booth #401).
“Our new ProSTUD Motion Frame Connector is a game-changer for high-rise buildings,” said Ryan Reed, category manager for ClarkDietrich. “High-rise buildings can be prone to swaying during high wind events, which can produce unwanted noise from steel-to-steel contact. This product significantly reduces that noise, creating a quieter and more comfortable environment for the building’s occupants.”
Launching in late spring, the ProSTUD Motion Frame Connector is designed to work with ClarkDietrich’s ProSTUD Drywall Framing System and can be used in both new construction and retrofit applications. It is UL-rated for a two-hour fire-rated non-load bearing CFS stud wall.
Contractors, architects and specifiers at BUILD25 can visit the ClarkDietrich booth for an up-close look at how the product installs and functions. While in the booth, they can also learn more about the company’s building enclosure solutions—including Structa Wire welded wire lath for better and faster stucco embedment, Top Vent Track rainscreen accessory for drainage and airflow, and ProChannel Ci cladding attachment for enhanced thermal, air, and water holdout.
For drywall finishing contractors, ClarkDietrich will be spotlighting its new Pro-Flex300, a flexible non-PVC cornerbead that installs smoothly with just one pass.
The company’s booth will also highlight its sustainability initiatives and accomplishments, time-saving tools and products, and engineering and specification support services.
Hosted by the AWCI, BUILD is the largest trade show for the wall and ceiling industry, highlighting products, services and solutions for metal framing, drywall, lath, plaster, EIFS, insulation, ceilings, acoustics and more. This year’s show is March 31–April 3 in Charlotte, N.C.
