The U.S. insulation industry contributes $20 billion annually to the U.S. economy and supports nearly 400,000 jobs throughout the United States, according to a new report published by the American Chemistry Council.
Thirty-two states added construction jobs in 2016 as a dearth of experienced workers kept contractors in many states from hiring as many employees as they would have preferred, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America of Labor Department data released today and the association's own survey.
AD reported sales for all its members, across all seven divisions and three countries, grew by 2 percent in 2015. Performance within AD’s operating segments ranged from +10 percent to -3 percent.
