The Sterling Merchandising facility in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, was constructed with insulated metal panels from Metl-Span and survived Hurricane Maria, the category 4 hurricane, with no leaks and minimal damage.
To help customers recovering flood damage following Hurricane Harvey, Terex AWP has sent three teams of product support specialists to travel throughout Texas to work with customers to assess the condition of the Genie equipment in their rental fleets. To assist with recovery efforts, Terex AWP issued Water Damage Repair Checklists for Genie booms, scissors and telehandlers to all customers in the area.
Contractors are playing a key role in repairing the damage and restoring services after Hurricane Harvey battered south Texas. They are inspecting levees, repairing power lines and restoring drinking water service, but cleanup and repairs are expected to be a long-term effort.
