ATAS International has announced the addition of four new sales team roles to enhance education and communication within the company and with customers.
This summer, ATAS International sponsored three Let’s Build Construction Camps for Girls. The camp is a free weeklong program designed for middle and high school age girls to explore the construction trades, architecture, engineering and construction materials manufacturing through hands-on experiences and field trips.
Award winners were announced by ATAS for their 2022 Project of the Year competition. There were seven award categories: commercial roofs, commercial walls, residential roofs, residential walls, accents, sustainable and interiors. Each award recognized projects in which ATAS products were incorporated into the design and construction of the building.
Dick Bus, president of ATAS International, headquartered in Allentown, Pennsylvania, was recognized in the 2023 Lehigh Valley Business’ Power 100 list. The list includes 100 leaders within the Lehigh Valley who shape the communities and influence the quality of life in the region.
ATAS International has named Jim Luster, CSI, Mike Krahling, CSI, CDT, and Jon Loftus as the recipients of the annual Malan S. Parker Award, which recognizes the top ATAS sales professionals each year.
Richmond Fournier, Inc. of Sant-Adrien-D’Irland, Quebec, Canada, won the first-place award in the sustainable category in ATAS International’s 2021 project of the year competition. InSpire HP solar air heating wall panels in Select Blue .032 aluminum were installed on this project.
Metal wall cladding continues to be a growing sector in the design and construction of both residential and commercial buildings. To assist contractors who may not be familiar with installing single skin metal wall panels, ATAS International offers installation training in three of their manufacturing locations, with a selection of several dates in 2023.
The parking garage at 3 Maple in Essex Junction, Vermont, won the first-place award in the accents category in ATAS International’s 2021 project of the year competition. Custom perforated panels in Regal Blue .125 aluminum were installed on the building.
The Mastlight at Union Point, a LEED Silver Certified apartment building, contributed to the transformative redevelopment of the former South Weymouth Naval Air Station in South Weymouth, Massachusetts. The area is now known as the vibrant mixed-use district of Union Point.
ATAS International has added another profile to their concealed fastener wall panel offering. The Design Wall Reveal is a modular wall panel series designed as a drained and back ventilated assembly. This puts an air gap and drainage plane between the panel system and structural wall, allowing wind-driven rain or moisture to escape the building envelope without entering the building.
