AD members gathered at the 2022 AD Finance, HR & IT Summit from June 6-8 at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix hotel to attend educational sessions and share best practices with fellow finance, HR and IT leaders in independent distribution. AD welcomed over 200 attendees from 110 companies across all AD industries in the U.S. and Canada to the summit.
AD’s newly elected director is Karla Neupert Hockley, president of Consolidated Supply Co. Tim Horsman, president & CEO of E.B. Horsman & Son was reelected by AD’s member-owners.
AD hosted its 2021 Gypsum Supply Division Virtual Spring Meeting, offering members and suppliers a multi-day agenda filled with informative industry speakers and collaborative sessions.
Despite the clear impacts of the pandemic, AD achieved a 1% increase in net distributions to its members and was able to offer innovative services and support to help members navigate the rapidly changing environment.
After eight years serving AD and its members and supplier partners, and more than 25 with one of AD’s major supplier partners, Senior Vice President of Business Development Tom Blue has elected to retire effective Sept. 30, 2020.

On a same-store basis, member sales across all AD’s divisions and countries were down 6% through the first six months of this year, to $21.6 billion, driven by a 13% decline in Q2.
