ROCKWOOL North America has begun commercial production of stone wool insulation products at its newest U.S. manufacturing facility, located in Jefferson County, West Virginia.

The new Milner Library not only reinvented its former box-shaped structure into a flowing, angular, modern icon, but also reimagined its interior as a brighter, quieter, more inviting, innovative, public space.

The project team's additional members included: Stantec (formerly ADD Inc.) as the architect-of-record, Pickard Chilton as the exterior architect, Turner Construction as the construction manager, Northstar Project & Real Estate Services as the project manager, Acentech Incorporated as the acoustician and Sasaki as the interior architect. Working closely with Acentech, Sasaki specified Rockfon's acoustic ceiling systems, which were provided by Merrimack Building Supply and installed by Allan Construction.

At its distribution center in Montebello, California, Rockfon North America, part of ROCKWOOL Group, celebrates its annual safety milestone and a cumulative estimated total 323,700 hours in 23 consecutive years without any lost-time injuries.
